Seniors' Group is open to anyone over 55. It plays a large part in reviewing Soha’s policies and representing the views of older residents from all types of housing. They pick up on issues and interests from all around the area. Their meetings are in person and run by a resident Chair and Vice-Chair. DAAG has three 'business' meetings a year. Tt represents the interests of Soha residents who live either with a disability, or with someone living with a disability. Either way, they see things from the perspective of our disabled residents and advise us. When they review proposed policies, their real-life experience makes all the difference to the final policy. Engagement and Communities Officer
Works with residents to make a real difference in your communities by encouraging involvement, building local connections, and supporting projects that matter to you.
Lettings Officer
Responsible for letting or reletting Soha homes to people on the housing register or existing tenants who have to move house urgently.
Neighbourhood Officer
For all aspects of day-to-day living and your tenancy agreement with us – for example, permission to have a pet. Also around the immediate environment where you live, such as the estate.
Rental Income Officer
Responsible for supporting you to pay your rent.
Technical Officer
For repairs to and maintenance of your home.
Tenancy Sustainment Officer
Supporting residents who are vulnerable through financial or health difficulties and so enabling them to stay safely in their home.
Estates
Estates Officers deal with everything to do with the maintenance, cleaning, management and improvement of neighbourhoods and the shared parts of land and buildings which are Soha’s responsibility to maintain.
Tenancy Enforcement Officer
Manages cases where there has been an alleged breach of tenancy and where legal action is required, such as anti-social behaviour, fraud or trespassing.
Neighbourhood Assistant
Supports the entire team with administration including, among other things, the letting of Soha’s garage stock.
